Denmark: Climate activists to protest in central Copenhagen Oct. 7

Environmental activists affiliated with the Fridays for Future movement plan to protest in central Copenhagen Oct. 7. Participants will gather in front of City Hall from 12:00 and the protest is scheduled to end at 15:00.

The demonstration is likely to remain peaceful, especially considering that the main organizing group hopes to attract large numbers of schoolchildren to highlight the interests of future generations with regard to climate change. Heightened security measures and potentially large crowds are likely to prompt localized traffic disruptions.
