Effective 16:00 Nov. 10, Denmark tightens COVID-19-related entry restrictions for Singapore and Ukraine; other entry restrictions in place.

Warning

Event

Effective 16:00 Nov. 10, Denmark will upgrade Singapore and Ukraine from the "COVID-19 risk" category to the "COVID-19 high risk" category. Travelers from these countries who have not been vaccinated or have not recovered from COVID-19 must take a COVID-19 test within 24 hours after arrival in Denmark and self-isolate for up to ten days immediately after entry; isolation can be ended early following a negative result to a PCR test taken no less than four days after arrival.

Authorities previously eased international entry restrictions on Oct. 25. From this date, the requirement for a worthy purpose to enter Denmark was dropped for all categories of travelers. Other changes to entry restrictions include:

  • All travelers who can show that they are fully vaccinated through the EU corona passport, the EU Digitial COVID Certificate, or an equivalent vaccine certificate can enter the country without restriction.

  • Travelers from the EU or Schengen Area without a certificate of vaccination or recovery must take a test within 24 hours of arriving.

  • Unvaccinated travelers arriving from countries on the EU green list must take a test within 24 hours of arrival in Denmark.

  • Unvaccinated travelers from all other locations are required to take a test within 24 hours of entry and self-isolate; isolation can be ended following a negative result to a PCR test taken no less than four days after arrival.

Domestic Measures
Authorities will reintroduce the use of the "coronapas" digital COVID-19 certificate from 06:00 on Nov. 12 to slow the spread of the disease. From this date, the coronapas will be required to enter indoor catering facilities and entertainment venues and all indoor gatherings of more than 200 people and all outdoor gatherings of more than 2,000 people.
