Workers affiliated with the USTKE union are protesting outside of Prony Resources' South Factory in South Province the afternoon of March 15 over various grievances. A small group is participating in the demonstration. The group has not blocked access to the facility; however, a meeting with management will take place at 13:00, and workers could escalate their actions depending on the outcome of the meeting.

Authorities have increased security at the site and are monitoring the protest. Police could move to disperse workers if they attempt to block access to the factory. Localized transport disruptions are possible if employees carry out actions later March 15.
