Unidentified assailants fired at least four projectiles towards or near Balad Airbase in Salah al-Din Governorate late March 17. There have been no reports of casualties or significant damage.

Increased security is likely in the impact area as authorities investigate and respond to the incident. Additional attacks targeting military installations in Iraq cannot be ruled out.
