Authorities ease COVID-19 domestic measures in Montenegro effective March 25; no international entry restrictions in place.
Event
As of March 25 authorities in Montenegro have further eased restrictions imposed to combat the spread of COVID-19. Nightclubs and discos are permitted to resume operation and the limit on attendance at sports events is increased. The new directives will remain in place through at least April 7.
Domestic Measures
Facemasks are mandatory in indoor public spaces and crowded outdoor spaces. Cafes, bars, and restaurants may open 07:00-01:00. Gatherings of up to 100 people are permitted.
International Travel Restrictions
There are no COVID-19 related restrictions on entry to Montenegro. Travelers do not need to possess proof of vaccination, recovery, or a recent negative test.
Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
