Authorities in Montenegro have lifted most remaining domestic COVID-19 measures as of April 8. Facemasks are no longer mandatory in many public spaces and the limit on gatherings is removed.

Domestic Measures

Facemasks remain mandatory on public transport, shared accommodation, and healthcare facilities.

International Travel Restrictions

There are no COVID-19 related restrictions on entry to Montenegro. Travelers do not need to possess proof of vaccination, recovery, or a recent negative test.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
