Peru: Air-traffic controller's strike is causing flight disruptions at multiple airports, April 14

Air-traffic controllers affiliated with the Air Transit Controller's Union of Peru (Sindicato Unificado de Controladores de Transito Aereo de Peru, SUCTA) have launched a strike April 14, disrupting dozens of flights nationwide. Reports indicate flights have been cancelled or delayed at Jorge Chavez International (LIM) in Lima, Rodriguez Ballon (AQP) in Arequipa, Coronel Alfredo Mendivil Duarte (AYP) in Ayacucho, and Capitan Carlos Martinez de Pinillos (TRU) in Trujillo.

Flights are likely to be affected for at least the rest of April 14. The strike may continue past April 14.
