Event

Officials in Barbados have eased some COVID-19-related measures as of June 27. Authorities have lifted COVID-19 testing and vaccination requirements for community, social, and sporting events. Service providers, staff, and performers no longer have to undergo testing or provide proof of vaccination. Additionally, authorities have lifted restrictions on attendance and length of service for funerals. Gatherings with 250 or more people are allowed but must receive permission from the COVID-19 Monitoring Unit and the National Cultural Foundation.

Domestic Measures
Facemasks remain mandatory in indoor public spaces and on public transport. Social distancing of at least three feet or more is required.

International Travel Restrictions
To enter Barbados, all travelers must complete an online Immigration/Customs Form at least 24 hours before travel. The form may be accessed via the BIMSafe mobile application or a government website. Travelers may complete the form upon arrival if experiencing technical difficulties. To access the form via the government website, click here.

Incoming international travelers aged 5 or older who are not fully vaccinated must present a negative result from a COVID-19 test taken no more than three days before arrival. The test can be a standard PCR test, rapid PCR test, or a rapid antigen test. LAMP tests, self-administered and at-home tests, and tests using saliva samples are not accepted. Travelers should upload their test results and vaccine certificate (if applicable) to the BIMSafe mobile application and travel with a copy of their test results that clearly indicates the date on which the test was conducted.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks.
