Warning

Event

Unionized Scandinavian Airlines (SK) pilots in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden ended an indefinite strike after reaching an agreement with SAS Scandinavia early July 19. Pilots launched their strike July 4 to protest salary cuts and management's decision not to re-hire pilots laid off during the pandemic. SAS warned that some flight disruptions are likely over the coming days as normal operations resume.

Advice

Confirm flights if booked to fly on Scandanavian Airlines over the coming days. Do not check out of accommodations until onward travel is confirmed. Arrive early at airports to prevent your seat from being allocated to a standby passenger. Consider alternate arrangements for critical travel.
