Over 30 fire trucks are responding to a fire at an electronics factory in the Quang Minh industrial area, Hanoi, the morning of Aug. 8. There are no immediate reports of casualties or the fire spreading to other buildings; however, the affected structure is reportedly damaged. The cause of the fire - that started around 06:30 - is unknown. Emergency operations and investigations are underway.

Heightened security is likely at the site in the coming hours. Authorities will probably close nearby roadways, causing localized transport disruptions. Lingering delays are possible until authorities conclude investigations and clearance works.

The incident site is approximately 18 km (11 miles) northwest of Hanoi.
