South Africa: N12 highway closed near Kimberley due to wildfires, Oct. 13

Officials closed part of the N12 highway north of Kimberley in the Northern Cape Province the afternoon Oct. 13. The closure is due to an ongoing wildfire in the area. It is not clear when the route will be reopened.

Disruptions are likely in the area even after the road is reopened as normal traffic resumes.
