Authorities in Paraguay relax country's COVID-19-related entry measures as of Oct. 25.

Informational

Event

As of Oct. 25, authorities in Paraguay are removing most of the country's COVID-19-related entry measures. Authorities will no longer differentiate between vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers or require unvaccinated travelers to submit negative COVID-19 tests before arrival. However, authorities will still record the vaccination status of visitors for public health tracking purposes.

Domestic Measures
Authorities have lifted most COVID-19-related domestic measures and most businesses are able to operate without restrictions. Facemasks are no longer required in the country; however, authorities still encourage individuals to wear facemasks in crowded indoor spaces and wash their hands regularly.

Authorities could reimpose, extend, further ease, or otherwise amend any restrictions with little-to-no notice depending on disease activity over the coming weeks. Officials could enforce highly targeted and localized measures in some communities.
