The fire began at around 05:00 in a factory on Mighty Grynner Highway and authorities have urged those in the Brighton area to evacuate. Mighty Grynner Highway is currently closed to traffic. Authorities have not confirmed if there are harmful chemicals in the factory.

There are no confirmed reports of casualties associated with the incident. Significant transport and business disruptions around the affected area could continue over the coming hours.
