Peru: Demonstrators to gather in central Lima's Plaza Mayor Nov. 20

Activists opposed to President Pedro Castillo will stage a demonstration in central Lima Nov. 20, gathering in the Plaza Mayor, also known as the Plaza de Armas, beginning 15:00. While the protest is likely to be peaceful, localized transport disruptions are possible. Police will almost certainly deploy to monitor the demonstration, as it will occur near the presidential palace.
