Iraq: Protest in Kirkuk, Jan. 2

Graduate trainees protested outside the North Oil Company headquarters in Kirkuk, Jan. 2. The purpose of the action is to denounce the lack of employment opportunities at the state-owned company. Security forces used water cannons and force to disperse protesters; clashes between the police and protesters resulted in five people being injured.
