Foggy conditions in Cluj-Napoca are causing flight disruptions at Avram Iancu International Airport (CLJ), Jan. 2. Flights at CLJ have been delayed or canceled, with many flights being directed to other airports in the country and in neighboring Hungary.

Cluj County is under the extended yellow fog code, with visibility below 200 meters. According to Romania's Meteorological Service fog conditions will remain in place through at least 23:00 Jan. 2. Lingering disruptions could occur through Jan. 3 as airlines work to clear passenger backlogs.
