Flight disruptions are ongoing at Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO) in Takoname, Aishi Prefecture, as of Jan. 7 after a bomb threat to a Jetstar flight GK 502 flying from Tokyo Narita (NRT) to Fukuoka (FUK) forced the plane to land at NGO. Reports indicate that officials at NRT received a call at 06:20 claiming a bomb was on the flight. In the course of evacuating the flight, at least one person was injured.

Flight delays and cancellations are likely until evening Jan. 7 at NGO. Lingering disruptions are likely as airlines clear the backlog of passengers.

NGO is approximately 36 km (23 miles) south of Nagoya.
