Bangladesh authorities are maintaining COVID-19 measures as of Jan. 9.

Domestic Restrictions
Facemasks remain mandatory in public places, including public transport, though adherence and enforcement are generally poor. Commercial, recreational, and public venues are open. Officials may impose stricter measures, such as nonessential business curbs, if increased disease activity occurs.

International Travel Restrictions
All arrivals must be fully vaccinated with a WHO-approved vaccine or obtain a negative PCR test result within 72 hours before departure. The requirements do not apply to people 12 years old and below. Symptomatic arrivals must undergo on-arrival rapid antigen testing. Individuals who test positive must quarantine at a government facility or hotel for seven days at their own expense and return a negative RAT result before exit quarantine.

Follow all official instructions. Abide by national health and safety measures. Consider delaying traveling if experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19, as they may prompt increased scrutiny and delays.
