The We Are Vests Mexico opposition group has called for nationwide protests on Sunday, December 1, in opposition to President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador's administration. In Mexico City, participants plan to gather at 11:00 (local time) at the Ángel de la Independencia, and then march to the Monumento a la Revolución. Organizers have said that they expect demonstrations at least 35 cities across Mexico, and that they have asked supporters to wear white.

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are expected near all protests and along all march routes.

Advice

Individuals in Mexico, and in particular Mexico City, are advised to monitor the situation, avoid all protests as a precaution, anticipate transportation disruptions, and adhere to any instructions issued by the local authorities.
