Environmental activists plan a three-day protest at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) on December 13-15; heightened security measures and flights disruptions possible

The Extinction Rebellion (XR) environmental group has called for a protest at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) on Friday, December 13, starting from 23:00 (local time) through Sunday, December 15, at 22:59. Additional protests are possible across Amsterdam.

A heightened security presence and transportation disruptions, including traffic and flight delays, are expected during the protest action.
