France: Disruptions on Paris-Toulouse rail line May to October

Trains on Paris-Toulouse line to face disruptions on five weekends between May and October 2017; confirm reservations

Due to rail work on the Paris-Orléans-Limoges-Toulouse line, train delays and cancelations are possible during the following five periods (all times local):

•    Saturday, May 6, at 09:50 to Monday, May 8, at 15:50
•    Thursday, May 25, at 16:00, to Sunday, May 28, at 16:00
•    Saturday, June 3, at 09:50 to Monday, June 5, at 15:50
•    Saturday, September 16, at 12:40 to Sunday, September 17, at 12:30
•    Saturday, September 30, at 12:40 to Sunday, October 1, at 12:30

In the event of cancelations, alternative train routes via Bordeaux or bus replacement options will be made available. The national train company, SNCF, has announced that last minute cancelations and schedule modifications cannot be ruled out.

Context

Modernization work on the Paris-Orléans-Limoges-Toulouse line is expected to continue until 2026.
