On Wednesday, August 23, an unannounced strike launched the previous day by employees of the baggage handling company Swissport at Brussels-Zaventem International Airport (BRU) came to an end around 09:00 (local time). However, residual disruptions to baggage delivery services are to be anticipated throughout the day. Flight delays and cancelations are also possible.

Swissport manages some 60 percent of luggage at BRU.
