Event

Since Sunday, August 13, stewards and flight attendants from Aigle Azur airlines are staging a rotating strike over pay disputes and working conditions. The strike is expected to last until Tuesday, August 15.

According to local media, the airlines’ hub in Paris-Orly International Airport (ORY), was affected on Sunday, while Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport (LYS) and Marseille Provence Airport (MRS) are expected to be affected through Monday and Tuesday, respectively.

Aigle Azur representatives have stated that the strike will not result in any cancellations, although some delays may occur throughout the duration of the strike.

This rotating strike is part of a larger industrial action, which began August 1, and is set to run through to October 31.

Advice

Travelers are advised to verify flight statuses prior to departure for the airport and to contact the airline for further details.
