France: Aigle Azur cabin crew strike August 30-September 1

Aigle Azur cabin crew strike August 30-September 1; flight disruptions possible

Warning

Event

Cabin crew staff at the airline Aigle Azur launched a strike on Wednesday, August 30, which is set to continue through September 1. The industrial action is taking place at the airline’s three hubs, Paris-Orly (ORY), Lyon (LYS), and Marseille (MRS) international airports. As a reminder, the union behind this three-day strike had threatened to carry out various actions throughout a three-month period, running from August 1 through October 31.

Major disruptions are unlikely, both during the current three-day strike and the longer three-month period, but some flight delays and cancelations are possible.

Advice

Travelers are advised to verify the status of their flights prior to departure for the airport.
