Major disruptions throughout Brussels Airlines network May 16 due to pilot strike; 75 percent of flights canceled

Significant flight disruptions are expected throughout the Brussels Airlines network on Wednesday, May 16, due to a pilot strike. Approximately 75 percent of flights have been canceled and last-minute cancelations and delays cannot be ruled out, notably at Brussels-Zaventem International Airport (BRU). Residual disruptions are possible May 17. Affected passengers can reschedule their flights or request a full refund.

Flights operated by Brussels Airlines partners - e.g. Lufthansa, Swiss, and Austrian Airlines - are not affected.
