Unions representing workers at the SNCB - a.k.a. Belgian Rail - are threatening to hold strikes in late June. A 48-hour strike is set to begin on Friday, June 22, at 03:00 (local time). A second, 24-hour strike is set to begin at 22:00 on Wednesday, June 27. Train delays, modified timetables, last-minute cancelations, and overcrowding on available trains are possible during and following strike periods.
