The French meteorological authorities (Météo France) have issued orange heat alerts - the second-highest level - for the Paris region (Greater Paris and the departments of Val-d’Oise, Yvelines, Essonne, and Seine-et-Marne) as well as Nord department. Temperatures up to 37°C (99°F) are forecast until at least 07:00 (local time) on Thursday, July 26.

wear loose, light-colored clothing. Do not hesitate to seek medical
attention if displaying symptoms of heatstroke.
