Hungary: Sziget Festival August 8-15

Authorities have announced they will implement heightened security measures, including additional police surveillance, in the area for the duration of the event. Crowded conditions and transportation disruptions are expected in Budapest during the festival.

The Sziget Festival, held annually in August, is one of the largest festivals in Europe. In 2017, an estimated 496,000 people attended the festival.
