Belgrade's Nikola Tesla International Airport (BEG) resumed operations in the early afternoon of Wednesday, September 12. The airport had been closed after an Egyptair jet landed with burst tires, blocking the runway. Numerous incoming flights were diverted to airports in Nis (Serbia) and Budapest (Hungary). Airport authorities warn that residual delays are expected throughout the afternoon, as the situation returns to normal.
