At least 25 percent of flights were canceled at Brussels-Zaventem International Airport (BRU) on Sunday, October 28, due to an ongoing strike by baggage handlers employed by Aviapartner. The strike, launched on Thursday, October 25, is expected to continue in the coming hours and days as negotiations between workers and Aviapartner continue. Further flight disruptions (delays and cancelations) are expected in the near term.
