Poland's national airline LOT canceled over a dozen international flights from Warsaw on Wednesday, October 24, due to an ongoing strike by LOT employees denouncing unfair employment practices and demanding better working conditions. Flights were also canceled on Monday and Tuesday. Further disruptions (delays and cancelations) are expected in the coming days.

On October 22, 67 employees were laid off by LOT for work absences related to the ongoing strike, which began October 18.
