Switzerland: Demonstrations in Geneva October 16-17

Unions representing workers in the construction industry have called for demonstrations to be held in Geneva on Tuesday, October 16, and Wednesday, October 17. According to local sources, demonstrators will gather on both days at 06:30 (local time) at the place des 22-Cantons before marching towards the Mont-Blanc bridge. A heightened security presence and associated transportation disruptions are expected along the march route.
