Bahrain: Localized flooding reported November 11

Heavy rainfall has led to localized flooding on roads in Bahrain on Sunday, November 11. Authorities have advised residents to avoid affected roads, including the Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman highway in the Jidhafs neighborhood and Kuwait Avenue near Um Al-Hassam neighborhood (Manama). Lingering transportation disruptions, including due to further road closures, are to be expected in Bahrain over the coming hours, as rainfall is forecast to continue through Monday, November 12, and may exacerbate flooding.

In the event of flooding, keep in mind that driving or walking through running water can be dangerous - 15 cm (6 in) of running water is enough to knock over an adult.
