Costa Rica: Puntarenas-Paquera ferry suspended until Dec. 3

Event

The ferry service linking Puntarenas and Paquera will be suspended from Friday, November 23, through December 2, as maintenance work is undertaken at the Paquera dock. Partial services are currently scheduled to resume December 3, and full services by December 15.

Advice

Affected travelers are advised to use alternate routes (e.g. via the Playa Naranjo ferry or by land).
