Further protests to be held in Seville and other Andalusian cities over regional elections on December 4; associated disruptions expected

Further protests are expected in Andalusian cities - including in Seville, Córdoba, Jerez, and Jaén - on Tuesday, December 4, against the far-right Vox party. In Seville, participants will gather at 18:00 (local time) in front of the Parliament building. A heightened security presence, along with associated transportation disruptions, are expected in the vicinity of the demonstrations.

Context

Demonstrations have been organized in response to Vox winning 12 seats in the Andalusian parliament in the December 2 regional elections. Thousands of people demonstrated in Seville, Grenada, and Malaga on December 3.
