Serbia: Orange weather alerts issued in multiple regions January 24-25

Orange weather alerts (the second-highest level on a four-level scale) for snow and ice were issued on Thursday, January 24, in Southern and Eastern Serbia, Syrmia, Šumadija and Western Serbia, Belgrade, and the Morava Valley. According to weather officials, the alerts will remain in effect through Friday, January 25. Associated transportation disruptions are to be expected, along with possible power outages.
