Spain: Demonstration in Barcelona against King’s visit Feb. 24

The Committees for the Defense of the Republic (CDR) has called for a demonstration to be organized in Barcelona on Sunday, February 24, to protest the visit of King Felipe VI to the city. According to organizers, the demonstration will be held near the National Museum of Art of Catalonia (MNAC) starting at 17:00 (local time). A heightened security presence and associated transportation disruptions are to be expected near the demonstration site.
