A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck approximately 9 km (6 mi) south-southeast of Ezine (Çanakkale province) at 21:23 (local time) on Wednesday, February 20. Light shaking was felt in Istanbul, according to witnesses. Aftershocks are possible in the affected area over the coming hours and days.
