Air traffic controllers (ATC) employed by HungaroControl, Hungary’s air navigation service provider, are threatening to hold a two-hour “warning strike” on Wednesday, April 17. The work stoppage will take place from 09:00 until 11:00 (UTC). According to Eurocontrol, ATCs are currently in negotiations and may launch indefinite daily strikes from 08:00 to 13:00 starting on Tuesday, April 23. Flight disruptions are anticipated in Hungary and the surrounding region if the strikes are carried out.
