Belgium: Increased security in Willebroek following grenade attack July 15

Heightened security measures have been put in place in Willeborek (Antwerp province) as of the morning (local time) of Monday, July 15, following a grenade attack at approximately 05:00 targeting a bar. Although no casualties have been reported, the attack resulted in significant infrastructure damages in the area. The surrounding area has been cordoned off and increased security measures have been put in place. It remains unclear who is behind the attack.
