Groups of fans took to the streets, particularly near Champs Élysées where fans blocked roads and lit flares. Some clashes with police were reported in the area, which had previously experienced unrest during the Bastille Day parades. Similar celebrations and associated disruptions are likely if Algeria wins the finals against Senegal on Saturday, July 20.
