A massive hailstorm hit the city of Guadalajara (Jalisco state) on June 30, causing roadblocks

A record-breaking two meters (6.5 feet) of hail fell over Guadalajara (Jalisco state) on Sunday, June 30, leaving blocked roads and cars covered in ice. Officials tried to clear ice away after the storm, though transportation disruptions were present. An estimated 200 homes and businesses reported damages due to the hailstorm.

Localized disruptions, including transportation disruptions and congestion on alternative routes, are likely in the coming hours.
