South Africa: Protest expected at border crossing with Eswatini July 26

South African trade unions to protest at Golela-Lavumisa border crossing with Eswatini in support of Eswatini workers

Members of the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) have called for various South African union to protest at the Golela-Lavumisa border crossing in the Kwa-Zulu Natal province on Friday, July 26, in support of Eswatini workers. Protesters are expected to meet at 10:00 (local time) to denounce the allegedly exploitative Eswatini regime.

Heightened security measures, along with localised disruptions, and increased processing time at border crossings are likely.
