Honduras: Planned power outages in San Pedro Sula August 2

The Energy Company Honduras (EEH) has announced a planned power outage that will affect several areas in San Pedro Sula (Cortés Department) on Friday, August 2. The blackout will take place from 8:00 to 16:00 (local time) and will affect Barrio Santa Ana, Colonia Colombia, Escuela Colombia, Banpais, University of San Pedro Sula, Banco Credomatic, Los Andes Clinic, Saybe Theater, Murillo Clinic, Military Hospital, and Santa Monica Oeste Shopping Center.

Associated disruptions, including commercial, transportation, and telecommunications disruptions, are expected during the blackout.

Individuals in the area are advised to monitor the situation, conserve power on battery-operated devices and keep them fully charged when possible, anticipate transportation and commercial disruptions, and adhere to all instructions issued by the local authorities.
