Croatia: Teachers’ protest reported in Zagreb September 5

Teachers represented by the Independent Trade Union of High School Employees (NSZSSH) in Zagreb marched through the city and gathered in protest on Thursday, September 5, to demand that the government raise pay. Teachers later gathered at St. Mark's Square to voice their grievances. Representatives have stated that if the government does not meet these demands, teachers will go on strike in the near term.
