South Africa: Taxi motorcade in Pretoria September 17

A motorcade organized by taxi drivers from the South Africa National Taxi Council (Santaco) and the National Taxi Alliance (NTA), will take place in Pretoria on Tuesday, September 17. Taxi drivers are expected to gather at 09:00 (local time) at the Old Putco Depot and drive to the Central Business District (CBD). Several roads across the CBD will be affected, likely leading to significant traffic disruptions in the vicinity of the protest. Additional security forces have been deployed along the demonstration route.
