According to local authorities, 211,366 people have been affected by the floods, which have resulted in at least 57 fatalities. At least 16,375 homes have also been destroyed. The Zinder, Maradi, and Agadez regions are the most affected. Associated transportation and business disruptions are likely in areas affected by flooding.
