Red alerts have been issued for Aveiro, Braga, Leiria, Viana Do Castelo, Coimbra and Porto regions, while orange alerts have been issued for Lisboa, Setùbal, Beja and Faro due to strong winds and waves. Moderate episodes of snow and ice are also expected inland. The alert is expected to remain in effect until at least Saturday, November 16.
