Libya: LNA indirect fire (IDF) targets Al-Khadra April 6
Injuries reported as LNA indirect fire (IDF) hits hospital in Al-Khadra on April 6; further attacks are possible in the near term

Indirect fire (IDF) carried out by the Libyan National Army (LNA) targeted Al-Khadra on Monday, April 6. IDF in Al-Khadra hit a hospital, resulting in at least one injury of a health worker and damage to a medical facility. One other civilian was injured in the vicinity of the hospital. A spokesman stated that the hospital was evacuated as a result of the IDF attacks and patients were relocated to other facilities. IDF was also reported in Abu Salim, Al-Hadba and Bab Benghashir, and the Mitiga Airport area.
Similar attacks are possible over the coming hours and days.
Context
The LNA launched an offensive on Tripoli on April 4, 2019, and prompted evacuations of foreigners from Tripoli on April 7, 2019. LNA and GNA airstrikes have been sporadically reported since April 8, 2019. The bulk of recent fighting has been concentrated in the southern suburbs of the capital.
