Protesters clashed with police in Guadalajara (Jalisco state) on Thursday, June 4, over the police-related death of Giovanni López. López died in police custody following his arrest on Monday, May 4, in Ixtlahuacán de Los Membrillos (Jalisco state). Further protests are planned in Guadalajara on Friday, June 5.
